Fringe Review - Forced Perspective
Some of my thoughts on last night’s new episode. I’d love to hear what you y’all think!
(One thing I neglected to mention in the review - I also loved the dynamic between Olivia and Broyles. Nice to see that their relationship seems largely unchanged in this new timeline…)
In Loving Memory of Richard David Ramsden
September 21, 1929 - December 22, 2011
This is - was - my grandfather, and some of you know that we lost him, unexpectedly, right before Christmas. I’ve learned a lot about what my grandfather’s life was like apart from him being my kind, quiet, loving grandfather in the last couple weeks. He did many wonderful things with his life, but I think that the legacy he was most proud of is that he married my grandmother and adopted her 5 young boys, whom he raised into good men. It sounds… almost trite to me to say that without him I wouldn’t be who I am today, but lately that’s what’s been on my mind.
I miss you, Gigi.
This is how Bella whiles away rainy Vancouver days… She sure has it rough, eh?
Me and Joel Wyman (@JWFRINGE, on Twitter) on the set of FRINGE last week. They were filming a couple minutes away from work, so I thought I’d check it out. Joel, in case you didn’t know, is one of the showrunners and was up here directing the episode, which is 4.15. My friend Ashley wrote about the evening, if you’re curious for some more details, but neither of us will give anything specific away, for a number of reasons. It was really, really bloody cold that night, and I have so much respect for the crew and cast - not only do they stick it out in punishing conditions, but they were friendly and welcoming to us.
All I’ll say is, please stick with it, and enjoy the ride! It’s definitely worth it.
Fringe - "Enemy Of My Enemy"
In case you missed it earlier, here are some of my thoughts on last night’s FRINGE episode… Let me know what you think!
It has been said, ‘time heals all wounds.’ I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.

(For some reason this quote speaks to me, especially right now.)
