In Loving Memory of Richard David Ramsden
September 21, 1929 - December 22, 2011
This is - was - my grandfather, and some of you know that we lost him, unexpectedly, right before Christmas. I’ve learned a lot about what my grandfather’s life was like apart from him being my kind, quiet, loving grandfather in the last couple weeks. He did many wonderful things with his life, but I think that the legacy he was most proud of is that he married my grandmother and adopted her 5 young boys, whom he raised into good men. It sounds… almost trite to me to say that without him I wouldn’t be who I am today, but lately that’s what’s been on my mind.
I miss you, Gigi.
