On How The Former Leads Me to FRINGE and Alternate Universes

The question which you all might be wondering given my previous post: how the hell does the Nature Versus Nature debate lead to FRINGE? To put it bluntly, FRINGE addresses neural issues on a near constant basis. I mean, there’s even a title of an episode that is explicitly brain related: Grey Matters.

I also think of FRINGE for a second reason. The whole idea of Alternate Universes in general makes me muse: is it nature or nurture? In fact, the existence of other Universes alone almost makes it even more of a salient discussion: the idea that there are whole Other versions of ourselves leading different – or very similar – lives offers a whole new ability to juxtapose who we are against the circumstances.

Since I don’t like to write about FRINGE without mentioning something I adore about the show: one more reason the Other Side is so fascinating to me are both the differences and similarities it presents. Also the fact that the Powers that Be have been so very good at fleshing out the Alternate Universe makes everything so much more intriguing.

It might not surprise you to know that sometimes I play a game with people that I like to call: ”Six Degrees (or Less) to FRINGE”. It’s even more fun when I can tell you a relation to the show with only one degree. And this happens far more often than I should care to admit. I also tend to play this game with STARGATE – which probably makes me more of a dork rather than less… Not that that bothers me in the least.

Oh look! A (relatively) shorter Tumblr post! Will wonders never cease?

Thank you all for reading today, and putting up with my verbosity which seems to have increased exponentially this week.
